Did you realize that thousands of website operators use a simple technique to generate targeted visitors to their websites without paying a dime in advertising? It’s true.

Over a 100,000 ezines and newsletters operate on the web (along with millions of websites) covering everything from pets and cooking to investments and real estate. Many of them need tightly focused content and they simply can’t produce all of it themselves.

If you provide excellent articles they can easily post on their sites or copy and paste into their ezines, your affiliates will promote you more often and more effectively compared to those who don’t give them tools.

** Build a Huge “Opt-In” Email List **
You can use articles to build up a huge list of subscribers by simply compiling several articles into a series and delivering them at preset intervals.

This basically describes Article Marketing. This is one of my main ways of driving traffic to my site on a daily basis. I write about 5 - 10 articles everyday, and post them to Ezinearticles.com .
The great thing about article marketing is that it’s free to use, and only takes up your time. If you can write about a subject, you can write articles about it, post them to article directories, get traffic, and make some money (either with a direct sale, or an opt in).
However, the key is to continue to write articles, and eventually get a ghost writer to write them for you.
It used to only take 10 - 20 articles to get you in the money, now its taking around 250 as there are lots and lots out there.
Its one of the only ways that I make my sales is through article marketing. I just drive them to my sites, and from there convert them into sales.
Of course I have just touched on it, and I am still building on it, and have a little ways to go before I can say I am making good money at it, but I am making money at it. It just takes time, and patience.

Yes, Jeff, I know it’s article marketing. That’s pretty much all I do at the moment is articles. My whole web-based business is built on writing articles. and I imagine that it does take quite a bit to make it really work. I have over 50 articles written here and there on the internet and I still don’t break about $30 a month with any consistency at all… [sigh] But I have noticed that the scale isn’t exact and the more I write, the more the income grows (and quicker). It’s almost like compounding. Each one builds the business more exponentially. 250, you say? I wouldn’t be surprised if that is a reasonable start. One thing I have noticed, though, is that my online marketing is actually bringing me offline income. It’s harder to account exactly for how much that is, as not everyone is telling me exactly how they are finding me, but I suspect it’s mostly online. And that is a definite plus! So I keep writing!
